One of our highest priorities at CIL is helping parents nurture the spiritual growth of their children, and Camp Blast is one of the most significant resources we provide for children going into the 3rd, 4th, 5th, or 6th grades. This weekend retreat, which begins Friday afternoon and ends at noon on Sunday, is held at Whispering Pines Camp, just 20 minutes from the CIL campus. Bible lessons, worship, prayer, great food, and outdoor fun with friends and a committed staff of children’s workers create an opportunity for our kids to experience God’s love in a special way.
Camp Blast is July 17th – 19th. The cost is $65 for one child, $60 for the second or more children. A $30 non-refundable deposit is due by July 5. Go to CIL.ChurchCenterOnline.com to register.
This Sunday, July 5th, is Family Sunday. Nursery and preschool classes are available for babies through age 4. Children age 5 and older worship in the sanctuary with their parents.
