08 Nov John McKinzie Speaking this Sunday!
John McKinzie is a pastor with deep roots of friendship in my life and much of the CIL leadership. He is an Overseer at CIL and a great friend to many in our congregation. He’ll be speaking this Sunday at CIL!
Here is a little bit more about John:
John McKinzie is the Lead Pastor of Hope Fellowship Church, a multi-site church in North Dallas, with campuses in Frisco, McKinney, and Prosper. John founded Hope Fellowship in 2000 and has led it to become a church known for its care for the broken and desire to “help everyone find Jesus and move them to the center of God’s purpose for their lives.” John is married to Melissa, has four kids, and has a lovely granddaughter named Lucy.
I am so excited about this opportunity, and I hope you join us at either 9 am, or 10:45 am this Sunday!
On Saturday, November 23 it is our goal to give away 185 fresh turkeys and all the ingredients for local families. We have currently raised the funds for 90 meals! Your gift of $25 will completely cover the cost of Thanksgiving dinner for someone who might be unable to provide that special meal without help.
We need to fully fund this project. This year we have no financial margin if all meals are not sponsored. How many meals could you sponsor?

A few Sundays each year we have the privilege of seeing many take their next step in their walk with Jesus by participating in water baptisms.
