27 Dec Christ is Love!
What outstanding Christmas Eve services we had earlier in the week! Several hundred people came to CIL to experience Christ’s presence during the commemoration of His birth. Pastor Aubrey and the worship team blessed us with moving music.
In case you have not heard, on December 22, CIL Partners voted to change the meaning of CIL to Christ is Love. We will continue to refer to ourselves as CIL or CIL Church, but you can now tell people that the acronym means Christ is Love.
On Sunday (December 29), we will be ministered to by some of the fantastic talents among us. Abbey Allison and Josh Johnson will lead us in worship music. Chris Muti, our Young Adults Pastor who is passionate and funny, will preach. It is a Family Sunday, so plan to worship with your elementary children in the sanctuary. It is going to be an enjoyable service, and I want you to join me!
Sunday will be a great way to close the decade.
