This Sunday, I will continue the series called Jesus-Style as the teaching focuses on “The Compassion of Jesus.” On the church calendar, we enter Ordinary Time, which is such an important time to grow. The summers have usually been good for me spiritually, perhaps paralleling my youth camp days. I hope you can find the summer months spiritually beneficial. Here is to a great summer of going deeper with the Lord!
A sample of summer activities that will help you go deeper in friendship with Jesus and others include:

As we approach Memorial Day weekend, I am so grateful for the military personnel who sacrificed their lives for the United States of America. We have a great country, and we are blessed with the freedom of religion and the freedom of assembly. During a nice weekend, do not forget these lost heroes and their families. We will have such a moment during our services on Sunday.
This week is a Family Sunday, so the elementary students will worship with us.
