20 Jan Services Cancelled for January 21
Sunday services and 242 Small Groups for this Sunday (January 21) are canceled. While I hate this, it is necessary. A hospital visit I made this week confirms why caution is appropriate. A very healthy man in our church shattered his femur while helping a neighbor move a car stuck by ice. Since our parking lot has a lot of ice, and we do not have the necessary equipment to clear it, it is only prudent for us to stay home.
This Sunday, we will do a livestream at 9 am on all the usual platforms. I invite you to join Aubrey and me online as we worship as a church family.
While we have this imposed reset, I hope you plan for some amazing opportunities before us. We will have Encounter this Tuesday night, and our first-ever Volunteer Appreciation Banquet will occur in a couple of weeks.
It is going to be a great 2024 for our church!

Encounter Worship and Prayer this Tuesday
Encounter is a scheduled time of worship and prayer designed for connecting with God’s Presence, intercession, and impartation of the Holy Spirit’s gifts. The Encounter nights will start at 7:30 pm, but you can come for any portion of the worship and prayer gathering.
Childcare will not be provided for Encounter, but we hope the later start time will help family and friends take turns with childcare in each home.
