  Dear CIL Church Family, I hope this email finds you well. This Sunday, I'll continue with part two of the sermon series "Your Bethel," focusing on Jacob's experience in Genesis 28:10-22. I'm eager to delve deeper into this powerful narrative with you all. In addition, this service holds special significance for us as a church.   Sunday services and 242 Small Groups for this Sunday (January 21) are canceled. While I hate this, it is necessary. A hospital visit I made this week confirms why caution is appropriate. A very healthy man in our church shattered his femur while helping a neighbor move a car stuck by ice. Since our parking lot has a lot of ice, and we do not have the necessary equipment to clear it, it is only prudent for us to stay home. This Sunday, we will do a livestream at 9 am on all the usual platforms. I invite you to join Aubrey and me online as we worship as a church family. While we have this imposed reset, I hope you plan for some amazing opportunities before us. We will have Encounter this Tuesday night, and our first-ever Volunteer Appreciation Banquet will occur in a couple of weeks. It is going to be a great 2024 for our church!           CIL...
