  Welcome to December! It is such a great month for reflection, celebration, and relationships. Christmas Eve falls on a Sunday, which gives us a different schedule. We will have three identical Christmas Eve services at 9 am, 10:45 am, and 1 pm. Start making plans now to celebrate Jesus! I will continue our Advent series called The Characters of Advent this Sunday. I will teach on the Shepherds as we focus on the theme of Peace. Thanks for your year-end contributions to the Gratitude offering.   Happy Thanksgiving! I pray you have a blessed week reflecting, feasting, and changing pace. Be kind and considerate to those working during the holiday weekend and keep Christ at the forefront of your heart and mind. This Sunday, we will begin Advent. It's a Kid's Merge Sunday, so we will love having the elementary-age students worship with us before Faith Hannula teaches them. Jacob Bell will preach, starting our Advent series, The Characters of Advent. Jacob will teach on Prophets as we emphasize the theme of Hope. Aubrey McGowan will lead us in worship. I am so thankful for our church family, you, and most of all - Jesus!   Believers, God has a crown for you! This Sunday, I will share the next two crowns mentioned in the New Testament with a sermon titled "Finishing Well." The Scripture will encourage you through this message!
