Hello saints and chosen ones! (Yes, that is you!)This Sunday we step into the story of Pentecost, that day when the Holy Spirit was poured out on on all people. The Holy Spirit is often described as the one who is "the warm breath of new creation," always pointing back to Jesus and renewing the world. This is big news because it means that God's work is not static. Rather God is moving, personal, and dynamic. As a three streams church, CIL celebrates and participate in the Spirit-filled stream. It is a big weekend for our family, as my oldest child Abbey graduates from high school. Beth and I will be worshiping with you Sunday, but Pastor Aubrey and Jen will lead the musical worship, and Pastor Chip will preach.I look forward to being at theLord’s Table with you.
