CIL Quick Hits Here are some quick reminders and tidbits about CIL:1. The Appalachia mission trip will be in eastern Kentucky this Thursday-Sunday. Pray for them!2. CIL will have its ten year anniversary in February 2018. Thanks be to God!3. This Sunday (Sep. 24) is the deadline to submit Leadership Board nominations for 2018-2019.4. At CIL we acknowledge the church calendar as we participate in the liturgical stream of Christianity. Currently, we are in Ordinary Time - the time between Pentecost and Advent. Green is the color for Ordinary Time, which reminds us we are in a season to grow!5. The people on the video announcements are actors, and don't attend CIL. But they do a great job sounding like insiders!6. We are going to participate in Operation Christmas Child this year! Details coming in October.7.
