Hello saints!Last night, we had such a great time at Men's Night! I look forward to all the great things God has for the men of CIL. Let's keep getting together for these different groups - women, men, youth, children, 242 - because we are better when in a relationship.This Sunday, I will begin a two-week sermon titled "Resisting the Devil in an Unspectacular Way." Hello, September!  It’s hard to believe how fast time can tick off.  Christianity reminds us that eternity is in our hearts.  We are created to be with the Lord forever!  This reality means we will be in the Christian family forever - thanks be to God!It’s Labor Day weekend, and we have both great opportunities and concerns before us.  Give the national and global problems to the Lord and take the chance to rejuvenate.  I hope you are able to do something enjoyable this weekend and revel in being alive.  Our Creator has given us life, and He loves to see us play!I’ll be speaking this Sunday, and I am excited to share a message of faith called “Praise as Long as I Live.”  It’s family Sunday, so I look forward to preaching to the elementary students as they participate in the sanctuary both services.  The worship songs and sermon...
