Deanna Powell has vast experience with children as a public school teacher, church children’s director, daycare director and cheerleading coach. Her teaching bachelors degree is from Middle Tennessee State University, and she holds a Masters of Education degree from Trevecca Nazarene University.
Deanna and her husband Kenny have been married for 21 years and have four children – Kennedy, Kaleb,, Karly, and Janiah. Kenny and Deanna are original members of CIL, and have served in multiple leadership positions in the church since 1996. Deanna started in 2007 and currently leads the H.E.L.P. Mother’s Day Out program, which is a ministry of CIL.
