25 Feb Fearless Moms
The first meeting of Fearless Moms is this Friday night at 6:30. This group has been born (pun intended) out of numerous conversations with moms who express a desire for a place to talk about their experiences, ask questions of other moms who are little farther along in the journey of child raising, discover ideas and resources, and connect with women who love Jesus and love their kids.
Moms of all ages are invited: that mom of a little one needs to hear from someone who has survived those sleep-deprived years, the mom of a teenager needs the encouragement of a mom who’s kids are beyond that turmoil, moms of young adults need to hear from moms who found the way to let go.
The book of Titus talks about the importance of women encouraging, teaching, and inspiring each other. We want to create a safe space for that to happen: Fearless Moms.
We’ll share, laugh, pray, maybe cry, and eat (potluck finger food – bring something yummy if it’s convenient. If not, don’t sweat it – come on). Moms, I really hope you’ll be part of this. Register here to help us plan and set up appropriately.
If you need childcare, this Friday is also Parents Night Out at CIL from 6-10. The cost is $15 for one child, $20 for two, $25 for three or more. Call the church office to register for childcare.
