This is the time of year for lots of small groups to launch! Here is what is happening in some of the small groups we have at CIL.
Speaking of new groups, we start a new College-Age 242 Group this Sunday on the CIL campus at 6pm. This group is for singles age 18-25. Chris and Kelly Multi are leading this important group. If you are interested at all, text or call Kelly at 615-498-3906.
2:42 small groups start a new semester this Sunday (January 15) and will meet every other week from 6 until 7:30pm in homes around the area and on the CIL campus. In addition to the new college-age group, we’re excited to announce two additional new groups this session. Two of the continuing groups have location changes. You’ll want to pick up the latest update of the 2:42 brochure from the Communication Center to have the latest information.
We offer childcare on campus for Sunday evening groups from 5:45 until 7:45 for birth through 5th grade.
In addition to our Sunday groups, there’s a group that meets on Wednesday after the Sunday dates. That group, which formerly met at Panera, is moving to the Thornburg home. Their information is also in the 2:42 brochure.
The start of our 6-7 Grade Small Group on Sunday morning was a great success last week. After worship, these treasured students get teaching from Pastor Matt and the youth staff. Make sure to share the news of this new group with families who are looking for this type of opportunity.
Middle school and high school students also meet in small groups on campus following the every other Sunday 242 schedule.
Women’s Bible Studies
CIL Women Bible Studies have resumed this January. Groups meet each Tuesday morning at 9:30, each Tuesday evening at 7, and Fearless Moms meets every other Monday morning at 9:30 starting on January 23rd. Learn more about what each group will study and sign up for your group at the Communication Center.
Small groups are the core of relationships at CIL. It’s where we learn to know each other better, where we are encouraged in lives of faith, and where we receive care and comfort during difficult times. The groups are casual times of food, conversation, a short Bible study lesson, and prayer.
Let’s all invest in Christian community! All groups are open and would welcome your participation! Sometimes it feels like a sacrifice to attend a small group, but it is always beneficial. You will no regret investing in one of these spiritual families.
