14 May Update from Aaron
Hello CIL Family!
We are cautiously excited about phasing back to activities at the church. We can feel this step back to congregational life with some 242 Groups having outdoor barbecues, summer plans formulating for children and teenagers, and efforts to restart services on June 7.
Our team is evaluating best practices to keep us as safe as possible while engaging in the community worship we all miss. Still, please do not rush coming back. I want you to take your own pace when determining when to return to CIL’s in-person gatherings. We plan to have the services live stream even when we return to our building.
This Sunday, I will be sharing a message from my heart titled Lessons from Containment. As I share what God has been doing in my heart, it will bless you on your journey with God.
You will be able to access our online services at the following platforms:
May the Lord bless you and keep you,

We are welcoming any student who is entering 10th grade through their freshman year in college to our High School Experience!
HSX will be this summer from Monday, June 29 through Thursday, July 2, at the Blue Horizon Lodge and Retreat in Panama City Beach, Florida!
This weekend will be full of friends, sun, and the ocean. More importantly, it will be full of Jesus. We are praying that during this weekend each student will have a real experience with the God the universe…the God of their hearts.

Join us for MSSC 2020 as we discover how to dwell with God, rest in His presence, push past distractions and focus on His peace. Spending time with the Lord changes everything! The relationship between God and humanity was broken by our sin, but Christ has made restoration possible. When we experience his forgiveness and restoration, we can draw near to God, enjoy fellowship and relationship with Him, and experience His ultimate peace and rest. In our culture, we have so many things grabbing our attention such as our phones, devices, social media and social expectations. Along with the pressures of school and other activities, we often find ourselves overwhelmed, drained and feeling empty.
Throughout this week students will experience exciting recreational time, grade-specific Bible studies, intentional services with worship and word, as well as building new relationships.
This camp is for any student who is entering 7th grade through their freshman year in high school.
MSSC is July 8 through July 12, at Fuge Camp in Black Mountain, NC at the Ridgecrest Conference Center!
