21 May Jesus-Style

I feel so refreshed after some time away with Beth, then a subsequent trip to visit one of my pastors. I am so grateful for an amazing staff and volunteer team that makes CIL happen!  Service was great last week, and we will continue the spiritual momentum when we gather again.

This Sunday I will start a new series called Jesus-Style.   We are going to look at stories and principals from the ministry of Jesus and prepare to do the same!   We obviously do not compare to the holiness and perfection of Jesus, but He has chosen us to extend His work to our generation.  Let’s learn more about His ministry and recognize how we continue this work in 2021.

Also, this week is Pentecost Sunday. May we always say in our hearts, “Come Holy Spirit!”

The ministry partners with residents and other organizations to uplift lives and revitalize the community. Galvanizing leaders of diverse backgrounds, Gallatin Shalom Zone brings people together to stimulate community transformation.
