Connect this Sunday

Connect this Sunday

We are serious at CIL about connecting you.  I am so excited that Pastor Jacob and the 242 Leaders are presenting 242 Connect this Sunday and next.  Read more about it below.  Also, find out more about Women’s Groups and Awana for children.  Do not worry, men; we have not forgotten you.  More news about Men’s Ministry is coming soon.

This Sunday, I will be teaching an impactful message from Ephesians 5:1 titled Imitators of God.  This message is going to be a help to everyone!  Josh Johnson is home from his missions training, and he will be leading worship. Let’s grow together this Sunday!

Grace and Peace,

242 Group Connect

We were made for life together. 242 Groups are an expression of the Christian community that fosters genuine relationships and spiritual formation. 242 Group Connect is an opportunity to learn more about the culture of our 242 Groups and to connect with our 242 Group Leaders. This gathering gives space to explore how to walk alongside others in Christian community at CIL Church.

242 Group Connect will be August 8 and August 15 (between Sunday services). Donuts and coffee provided (thank you Black Press Coffee and Shipley Donuts)!

242 Groups start on August 15!

CILWomen Small Group Studies

What happens around a table when women open their Bibles and open their hearts is a life-giving experience.  CILWomen will begin new small group studies the week of August 15th, with both daytime and evening groups meeting.  You can learn more about each group at cil.churchcenter.com or on the Church Center app, under ‘Groups’ in both places.

We’d love for you to be there.  You’ll bring us something precious:  you.

Awana

Awana is a ministry for ages 3 through 5th grade, where we memorize Gods word and learn to be disciples for Christ. We meet on Wednesday evenings through the school year for Bible lessons, small group time, fun and games. Awana has been proven to strengthen relationships among children, with Christ, and  build confidence in what we believe. Let’s not forget how much fun the volunteers have as well!

Awana at CIL begins Wednesday, August 25 at 6:00pm. Register here!
