I love that CIL does not tell people we love them; we show that love! The Thanksgiving Blessing provides a fresh turkey and sides to people in our community. A few weeks ago, I informed our CIL Partners that our wonderful children’s pastor, Jennifer Cordray, will leave her staff position by the year’s end. While this is a sad change, God has provided us with a new children’s pastor who will be full-time, and you can learn about her below. There is an exciting future for our children and families!
This Sunday is when we celebrate All Saints Sunday. Before or after service, you will have a chance to remember someone deceased who inspires you to follow Jesus by including their name on a temporary memorial.
All Saints Day is a Christian celebration in honor of all the saints from Christian history. We do not pray to the saints (Matt. 6:6), through the saints (1 Tim. 2:5), or for saints in heaven. Instead, we remember the saints and allow the memory of their faith to spur us on to deeper worship and service to the Lord. I am honored to preach this Sunday, and Aubrey will lead us in meaningful songs.

New Children’s Pastor
We are excited to announce that Faith Hannula will be our new Children’s Pastor, beginning in January. Faith will graduate from Lee University in December with a degree in Discipleship. Faith is currently a worship leader in Cleveland, Tennessee, and she will bring her musical talents to our children’s ministry. We are thrilled to have Faith join our CIL family and eagerly await how God will use her!
