07 Jan Planning for a Great Sunday
CIL family –
This winter weather has caused the new year to stumble at the start. That’s ok. I hope these last two days you have been warm and satisfied. May grace be on all of you with little ones who may be stir crazy!
The weather prognosis means Sunday morning should be clear for us to have services, so all our plans are moving forward. I will be teaching, and Josh Johnson will be leading us in worship music. We will also install Faith Hannula as our new Children’s Pastor. It will be an important Sunday at CIL! I hope to see you at either 9 AM or 10:45 AM.
On Sunday night, Aubrey McGowan will be leading us in a Worship Night at 5 PM. While we will not be able to provide childcare, the entire family can join our worship team in prioritizing the presence of God in 2022.
As the new year begins, thank you for your faithfulness in tithe and offerings. We have a lot of vision at CIL, so your giving makes it possible. Your financial partnership is so important. We exist to know His love, share His love. Why? Christ is love!

Family Field Guide is a ministry founded by Pastor Aubrey and his wife Jen. Through their own journey and struggles with leading their kids to walk in the way of Jesus, God birthed a passion in them to develop a simple but fruitful plan that busy families can use to create a new rhythm of worship and discipleship in their homes. This month they entered the next chapter of their ministry by opening the doors of Family Field Community, a monthly subscription that provides the plan and encouragement for families to grow deeper connections with God and with one another in 2022.

AWANA and CIL Students resume on Wednesday, January 12! We are excited to see everyone back at church!

The next Kingdom Group meeting is Wednesday January 19, 630pm-830pm in the Home of Dana & Jordan Pettit.
The group is for those who desire to minister in the power and gifting of the Holy Spirit and be able to give that blessing to others. This group is open to all ages and the focus is learning and doing the Ministry of Jesus. Come and see. Also, if you have need for prayer or change in your life – please come, too – this group will meet your need.
