27 May Memorial Day Weekend
It’s Memorial Day weekend, and I am so thankful for the men and women who have sacrificed their lives in military service to establish America. Pray for the surviving family members of these fallen soldiers.
It’s Family Sunday, so our elementary and middle school students will worship with us in the sanctuary. After a couple of weeks away, Aubrey McGowan will lead us in worship, and he will be joined by Faith Hannula, our children’s pastor. Faith is an experienced, effective worship leader, so you will enjoy discovering her musical gift.
I look forward to preaching and sharing another resurrection message! Jesus is alive, and we’ll keep spreading that story!
I keep thinking a lot about the massacre in Uvalde, Texas. There are no helpful words to add to the collection of laments. This tragedy does remind me that the work we do at CIL Church matters, and we’ll keep developing souls.
With love for all,
Share His Love Locally:
Because of your giving, SaveOne preached the message of healing and forgiveness in 15 cities in front of 8,262 people in April. And the Lord established an eternal home for 26 people. SaveOne saw hundreds of men, women, and family members who are abortion wounded start a path to healing through these services. Your gifts make a difference! This ministry also trained 25 new SaveOne leaders who are now empowered to engage the abortion wounded, adding to their army of Truth Tellers.
