We are firmly in November, and this is a month of great opportunity. After 14 years of CIL Church offering the Thanksgiving Blessing, we are expanding our scope by aligning with other churches and ministries in Sumner County. This year, we will reach ten times more people than we have done on our own! Thank you, Lord, for this expansion! Read below how you can get involved.
On Sunday, Pastor Jacob Bell will preach, and we will all be blessed by this ministry of the Word. I want to see you at CIL Church this Sunday! Christ is love!
CIL Forward exists so that every person in our church has heard our vision, understands the gospel, is in a relationship with Christ and is engaging in ministry.
We will meet on Sunday, November 6, during the 10:45am service in the Living Room.

We are doing something that has never been done before by aligning with Bless Our Neighborhood partners for the Sumner County Thanksgiving Blessing!
Sumner County Thanksgiving Blessing is a county-wide event providing 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to families in need. This multi-site, simultaneous distribution is the result of multiple churches and non-profits coming together to benefit their community. Together with Feed Sumner, First Baptist Church Hendersonville, First Baptist Church Winchester Street, Unlimited Potential, and Crossroads Church, we will prep, pack, and distribute Thanksgiving meals for neighbors across Sumner County – all for the word of Christ to dwell in our neighborhood!
You have multiple ways to get involved and help make Thanksgiving Blessing a success! See below for all the details!

Opportunities to Volunteer:
- Thanksgiving Blessing Prepping on Friday, November 11 (6PM @ FEED Sumner)
- Thanksgiving Blessing Packing on Saturday, November 12 (9AM @ FEED Sumner)
- Thanksgiving Blessing Packing on Saturday, November 12 (6PM @ FEED Sumner)
- Thanksgiving Blessing Prayer and Distribution on Saturday, November 19 (7AM – four locations to choose from)
Friday, November 18th, 6:00PM @ CIL Church
Join us for a night of worship and prayer as we prepare for Thanksgiving Blessing! Pastor Aubrey will lead worship, and will be joined by worship leaders from First Baptist Church Winchester Street and First Baptist Church Hendersonville!
