08 Oct October is a fun month at CIL!
This month, three fun events are happening – CIL Men’s Chili Cook-Off, CIL Kids Friends and Flannel, and Autumn Afternoon for the entire church. Read about them below and register.
I have loved sharing a variety of Chapter Fifteens in Scripture. This Sunday’s message is titled “Reminders to Rome (and us)” from Romans 15.

It’s time for the CIL all-church “Autumn Afternoon”!
Bring your whole family, and a blanket or chair, and join us on the lawn for an afternoon of desserts, games, fellowship, and fun!
We’ll have cider, hot chocolate, hayrides, corn hole, and a S’MORES BAR! And you won’t want to miss the good ol’ fashioned PIE & COBBLER BAKE-OFF (with prizes for the winners)!
Last, but not least, come and see the WORLD’S SMALLEST HAY BALE MAZE!!!
We are going to have a blast together! There is no charge, but we need to know you’ll be there, so please REGISTER HERE!

It’s time for the Third Annual CIL Men Chili Cook-Off!
Get out your best chili recipe, and make a pot to share with everyone. Whether it is brisket chili, white chicken chili, or the classic Texas red chili, all kinds are encouraged because we men like to FEAST! And there will be PRIZES given to the favorites!
We will also hear an encouraging word from some of our CIL men as we look to grow our men’s ministry! This is a great opportunity for men to gather in Christian community.

Join CIL Kids for Friends & Flannels on October 13th!
This is a fun opportunity for your kids to make friends and enjoy some fall activities! We will be eating pizza, making s’mores, and carving pumpkins!
Kids will be placed at 3 different host homes based on their age and grade. The cost is $10 per child.
The night will be full of giggles and fun, so make sure to REGISTER NOW!
