05 Sep New Series Begins Sunday!
We can relate to King David because he went through so many of the same experiences we do! Ups and downs, friends and enemies, success and failures. David reminds us of the shared human experience, but he also had the constant in every circumstance – a friendship with God.
This Sunday, I will teach on the “Anointing of David,” as we will see God’s call on us through 1 Samuel 16:1-13. This message will help you see things clearer and further in your life.

TSST: Reading the Major Prophets
Are you ready to go deeper into theology without going broke? Three Streams School of Theology (TSST) is for you!
For several years, CIL Church has been offering theological training for those who want to go deeper but do not have the time or financial resources to use for formal seminary training.
For the fall, we offer the course “Overview of the Major Prophets,” which includes the books of Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, and Daniel.
Teachers for this course include:

– Pastor Jacob Bell
– Pastor Deborah Jackson
– Dr. Stan Wilson
The cost is only $50 for the 12-week course, and classes take place at CIL Church. The course starts MONDAY, September 9, so there is still time to join.
We’ll meet each Monday at 6:30 pm for 12 weeks.

Join Rix Family Missions and Pastor Mauricio for the 2025 Honduras Mission Journey!
We will serve and share the gospel with the people of San Pedro Sula, Honduras. The team will minister to the deaf community and local churches in the region.
The trip takes place during Sumner County’s Spring Break week, March 10-15.
