13 Aug Update from CIL, August 13, 2015
This has been an exciting month at CIL, as attendance and enthusiasm in every area has surged. I struggle with the balance between sharing good news about progress and walking in humility. As Paul wrote, "May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ" (Galatians 4:14). Still, it is important for you to know that something special is happening at CIL. Perhaps you are on this e-mail list and you haven't attended CIL in quite some time. Come back and experience a loving atmosphere, passionate worship, thoughtful liturgy, and a strong sermon from the Bible. We aren't using gimmicks, celebrities, giveaways or mass marketing techniques. We just want to experience the presence of God and the Word of God with people who are in various places on their spiritual journey. Would you consider coming to CIL this Sunday at 9:00 or 10:45am?
