Have you registered for the Marriage Seminar? It is not too late!  Join us on Saturday, March 10th from 9 to 12 as we learn how to better communicate to resolve conflict in marriage.   The cost is $40 per couple.   Register at cil.churchcenter.com   You may register for childcare when you register for the seminar.     Offering Updates Earlier in February we took up an offering for the Souper Bowl of Caring.   We were able to send $930.00  to the Hendersonville Samaritan Center to help our friends in the community.   Last week we put an appeal for donations to feed the children of Arlie Boggs Elementary School in Eastern Kentucky.  So far we have raised $815.00   Our team leaders are going there on March 9th with supplies so that we can restock their pantry. Food Drive Offering Arlie Boggs Elementary School in Eastern Kentucky is dear to our hearts.  Our Appalachian Mission Team partners with them every year to support the work they do in one of the most under-resourced counties in America.  We recently discovered that their weekend food program is critically low on supplies.  This vital project sends food home in backpacks with children to ensure they and their families can eat each weekend.  Our team leaders are going there on March 9th with supplies.  Will you donate so that we can restock their pantry?  We are asking for financial contributions so that we can provide the most needed items.  You can give online today. Click here, and choose Arlie Boggs from the online drop box to mark your gift. Marriage Seminar Healthy marriages don't just happen.  Investing time and attention in marriage is vital, and hearing outside voices speak life into our marriage is essential for long-term health. In 2016, Brent and Janice Sharpe made an impact on many couples in our community through their marriage seminar at CIL.  They are returning on Saturday, March 10th. In the seminar "Two Becoming One," Brent and Janis train couples in how to understand their unproductive interaction patterns when conflict arises and how to resolve issues in a way that builds emotional intimacy in marriage.
