 Good morning!I have a cool development to tell you about! After a few years off, Hendersonville's National Day of Prayer breakfast will return this Thursday. The National Day of Prayer is an important recognition by our federal government. By law, the United State Congress has called on the President to issue each year a proclamation designating the first Thursday in May as a "National Day of Prayer." Check out the details below and join me this Thursday morning at First Baptist Hendersonville. It will be great for Christians in Sumner County to come together for prayer.This Sunday, we continue our Eastertide season by celebrating Jesus.    What a special week! To fully experience the resurrection story, we must also enter the somber story of betrayal and crucifixion. Tonight, we will gather for a Maundy Thursday service at 6:30 PM. This time of worship, reflection, communion, and cleansing helps us identify with the disciples at the Last Supper and see our own role in Christ’s story.  On Friday, the sanctuary will be open from 8:00 AM to 5 PM for a come-and-go opportunity to pray through the Stations of the Cross.   For Easter, we will offer three opportunities to worship!
