-   Have you ever tried to accomplish a task without the right tools?  It's frustrating, isn't it? The heart of the Back to School Blessing is to provide a backpack filled with supplies to Hendersonville students whose families would have a difficult time with that expense.  Our goal is to provide over 200 backpacks for elementary, middle, and high school students, sending them back to school with the tools they need to be successful.  With your help, we can do it! Each filled backpack costs $25.  Would you sponsor one (or more)?  Go to https://cil.churchcenter.com/giving and choose 'Back to School Blessing' from the dropdown box. We'll fill the backpacks on Friday, August 2nd and then set up a big tent in the parking lot of the Dollar General Market on New Shackle Island Road on Saturday, August 3rd to give away backpacks and pray with families. Happy Fourth of July! Join us this Sunday as we welcome Pastor Ronnie Meek. Services are at 9:00am and 10:45am. See you then!   - We hope your week has been wonderful and that your summer continues to offer opportunities for joy! Please continue to be in prayer for the Costa Rica Mission Trip (June 29-July 6) and the Middle School Summer Camp (July 10-14). There will be no Wednesday evening activities on July 3 and the CIL Office will be closed on Thursday, July 4. Have a wonderful holiday! Thank you to each of you who took part in HSX through donation and/or prayer. It was a weekend filled with building relationships, resting in the presence of God, chains being broken, and being filled with His Spirit.   - Hello, CIL Family! We hope you are continuing to enjoy your summer and that you are having plenty of opportunities for rest and for quality time with your family and friends!  Please plan to join us for services this Sunday!
