30 Oct All Saints Sunday

This Sunday is All Saints Sunday. Before or after service, you will have a chance to remember someone deceased who inspires you to follow Jesus by including their name on a temporary memorial.
All Saints Day is a Christian celebration in honor of all the saints from Christian history. The Bible doesn’t teach us to pray to the saints (Matt. 6:6), through the saints (1 Tim. 2:5) or for saints who have already gone to heaven. Instead, we remember the saints and to allow the memory of their faith spur us on to deeper worship and greater service to the Lord.
I will be preaching this week from Galatians 1:13-2:2. Aubrey has some great music planned to connect us to His presence. Participating in church is such a gift!

On Saturday, November 21, we plan to provide fresh turkeys and all the ingredients for local families who need a boost. Your gift of $25 will completely fund Thanksgiving dinner for someone who might be unable to provide that special meal without help.
