"Souper" Bowl of Caring Each year CIL participates in the "Souper Bowl of Caring" on the day of the big game. We'll join a nation-wide effort to remember those in need in our local community by making donations to a local food pantry. Donations on Sunday, February 1, will go to the Hendersonville Samaritan Center. Matt Malone speaking Our youth pastor will be sharing the message in both 9:00 and 10:45 a.m. service. Matt is a fantastic speaker, and I look forward to hearing him minister an encouraging message to us all. Prioritizing on Super Bowl Sunday There is nothing better you can do to enjoy Sunday's game than to begin your day putting God first by attending church. On a day when materialism, commercialism, and lewdness often overshadow the competition on the field, let's prioritize worship this Sunday. It's amazing what simply stepping out of our normal routine for 24 hours can change.  New perspective, new friendship, new insight, new life - so much can be affected in a few short hours when we give that time to God.The women of CIL (and friends - we love to meet new ladies) are headed to the Scarritt-Bennett Center on the campus of Vanderbilt University on April 10th and 11th for a 24-hour retreat, and we're praying for it to be a life-changing time.  You'll hear from these CIL women:    Beth Allison  Amy Moseley Jen McGowan   Gina Shaw    Lindsay Johnson   Daphne Briley   Each of these ladies has a story that will encourage you, challenge you and make you think. I suspect laughter is inevitable, as well. Our own Jennifer Cordray, aesthetician and make-up artist with 16 years experience, will conduct a  Makeup 101 that is sure to be informative and lots of fun. Scarritt-Bennett is catering our meals, and you'll each have a private...
