It has been an emotional week in our country with such a close election.  Despite our differences, we have a great nation. This Sunday, we will honor all veterans for their service to our country.  I want all who served to be recognized when your branch is called.  Whether you stand, raise your hand, or comment on Facebook Live, we want to identify you.  There is no need to notify us of your participation ahead of time, just show up in person or join us online, and the recognition will happen in the middle of the service. Please consider a donation to the Thanksgiving Blessing.  Your generosity keeps our outreach ministries happening! With love and appreciation,   CIL’s annual Thanksgiving Blessing is less than a month away! There is so much insight from Scripture, and I am glad to share it with you!Every week I am blessed to discover someone new who participates in digital church.  I am so glad we have that option now, and I foresee it an important part of our future.Still, digital church does not replace the physical gathering of God’s people.  If you are not at high risk to attend a campus church at CIL, will you do so soon?  I think a lot is on the line for the future of the American church in our generation.   We are called to gather, and your participation has ripples we cannot see or appreciate in this life.   Your presence is important!     The CIL Church Picnic and Kids’ Fall Festival is Sunday, October 25, 2:00pm- 5:00pm.
