We are going to suspend our weekly Thursday service until a later date.I have loved these services for many reasons, and a weekly Thursday night service is part of my long-term vision.   Since the latest spike of COVID-19 cases, the Thursday service has diminished in numbers to a handful of people. It appears we need to try this time slot on a weekly basis later when more people are attending in-person services.Since so many of us enjoyed the evening service culture, let's have a special worship service on Thursday, August 20 at 7 PM.  We will plan unique content for this night that is different than Sunday.  This worship night may turn into a monthly gathering.Let's gather to worship either online or in-person this Sunday at 9:00 AM or 10:45 AM.Thanks for experimenting with me.  The best is ahead!...

Venture Begins Sunday!VENTURE is a family conference July 12-14 at CIL. It is open to families with kids from Pre-K through 8th grade and it is a time where kids and parents gather to experience God together. This year's theme is "A New Kingdom" and we will explore together what it looks like to live in God's kingdom and also what it takes to be part of building His kingdom. The conference will take place 5:30pm-8:00pm each night and the cost is only $30 per family! There will be fun family games, great food, and some amazing giveaways for every family! On Monday, our High School students will be going to youth camp at Panama City Beach, so pray for that important trip.  Thank you for those who donated for scholarships.  I believe God is going to change lives through this camp, so let’s pray for this to happen!  Make sure to keep the family event for kids called Venture on your calendar for the evenings of July 12-14.  You can get more details and register here!  Tonight, and Sunday, I will be preaching a message that asks, Backlash or Prudence? This message is very relevant for the turbulent times in which we are living. I love teaching God’s Word and experiencing His presence with you!Join me for our Thursday night service tonight at 7:00 PM.  If you do not come on Thursday night, I will share the same message on Sunday at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM.  We will not live-stream tonight, but we plan to live-stream both services on Sunday.I hope to see you...
