-Over the next few months, there are so many awesome opportunities at CIL to connect to God and to another.One of the events we can't wait to experience together is Venture. It is an event designed for kids (Kindergarden-Rising 8th graders) and their parents to experience God together. Over the course of three nights, June 9-11, we will explore what it means to make Christ the center of our home on a daily basis. We desire to help each family unearth their God-created uniqueness and discover how God plans to use them for His kingdom.-What will we do? Each night we will gather for a time of fun and worship with the whole family. This will be followed by a time of separate teaching for each specific age group and adults as well. -Our theme for Lent is "Making Space." On Friday, March 8, we will make space for God through a Prayer and Worship Night at CIL at 6:30pm. Childcare is provided through age 4. The other kids are invited to join us for worship and prayer. We hope many teenagers join us, too!-Pastor Aubrey and the worship team have looked forward many months to have dedicated time to seek the Lord with you. We will sing familiar songs, spontaneous songs, and have dedicated time of prayers. -As I prayed in 2018 for God's direction for the next decade of our church, I felt impressed our church family should emphasize particular areas of development.
