June is a great month for kids to grow closer to Jesus and each other through incredible opportunities at CIL. Make sure you know the details on these two:   Camp Blast Kids summer camp at CIL called Camp Blast! Rising 3rd grade through rising 6th grade students head to Whispering Pines Camp in Castalian Springs for a weekend get-away Friday afternoon, June 8th, and return by noon on Sunday, the 10th. The cost is $140 for the first child, and $130 for two or more kids in the same family. We know the impact camp can have in a child's life, and want all our CIL kids to be there. If the cost is a barrier, please connect with Pastor Chip about a scholarship. Hi, We're gearing up for Camp Blast! This get-away for rising 3rd through rising 6th grade students is Friday, June 8th through noon on Sunday, the 10th.  We'll go to Whispering Pines Camp in Castalian Springs for a weekend of fun, friends, and special services that include worship with Aubrey and Jen McGowan. The cost is $140 per child ($130 for 2 or more kids in the same family). If cost is an issue, we can help with scholarships.  Please let Pastor Chip know. Hello saints and chosen ones! (Yes, that is you!) This Sunday we step into the story of Pentecost, that day when the Holy Spirit was poured out on on all people. The Holy Spirit is often described as the one who is "the warm breath of new creation," always pointing back to Jesus and renewing the world. This is big news because it means that God's work is not static. Rather God is moving, personal, and dynamic.  As a three streams church, CIL celebrates and participate in the Spirit-filled stream.       It is a big weekend for our family, as my oldest child Abbey graduates from high school.  Beth and I will be worshiping with you Sunday, but Pastor Aubrey and Jen will lead the musical worship, and Pastor Chip will preach.
