For the last nine years the people of CIL have provided backpacks full of school supplies to area elementary, middle school, and high school students. This will be our 10 Year Anniversary of this outreach!  We thank God for His help in this! CIL have provided backpacks full of school supplies to area elementary, middle school, and high school students. We thank God for His help in this! Over 200 families will be touched by this project. The scope of what we can accomplish is dependent on your generosity! Gala Johnson's stewardship and hard work have reduced the cost of each backpack to $20.  How many backpacks can you buy?  One for $20?  Ten for $200? I am asking you to prayerfully consider how many backpacks you can purchase.  I believe God has called every backpack to have a sponsor so that we can reach more families than ever before. A huge couple of weeks are about to start at CIL.  Here are some highlights for you to be aware of: 1.  Alpha starts on Monday, July 24 at 6:30pm.   2.  Veritas College starts on Monday, July 24 at 6:30pm.      3. Jonnie W. Hi- If you're a follower of Christ, you probably agree that reading the Bible, studying scripture, is an important part of being a follower. Our hearts are created to long for connection to Jesus, to know Him more deeply and to be known by Him.  We want that.  But it's often not doing the Bible study that stalls us: stalls the growth of our faith, the deepening of our relationship with Jesus (and each other), and keeps us stuck.  Longing.
