One week from today is Christmas Eve! As you make plans to give gifts, eat special foods, and spend time with loved ones, make sure you also plan for worship.  While cultural traditions are important and fun, worship is essential. Your kids may not be excited about Christmas Eve service this year, but when they look back on this time they'll be grateful you included worship in your Christmas celebration. If past years is an indicator, we can expect a full room.  I encourage you to arrive a little early. We will have child care available for infants through  age 4. The service will start at 4:00pm on Thursday, December 24th. We'll sing Christmas carols, I'll share a short devotional, and we will take communion.  It will be a short but meaningful service and I'm looking forward to sharing it with you. CIL Kid's Christmas Musical  Sunday, December 20 at 6:00pm Reception following (Santa Claus will join us for cookies, hot chocolate, and pictures) Please make plans to join us Christmas Eve at 4:00pm for a time of worship.  We'd love for you to bring family and friends to this special service.  Childcare will be available for infants through four years old, although all children are welcome to join us in the service. On Christmas morning we'll go into downtown Nashville with gloves, socks, stocking caps, coats and blankets, as well as individually wrapped candies, cough drops, dried fruit snacks, peanut butter crackers, granola bars etc., and reusable shopping bags (for them to carry their treats in) to distribute to folks who spent Christmas Eve on the street. We're collecting these items for the Christmas Blessing through the Christmas Eve service.  Please sign up at the Communication Center if you'd like to be part of the distribution on Christmas morning.  It's a wonderful...
