 Hello CIL family!What a great service we had last week! We strongly felt the presence of God as we worshipped, and the Scripture shaped us as God's people. I want CIL services to be a safe place for you. I pray that you find a respite from this world's challenges, as heaven fills your soul with the goodness of God.This Sunday, I will give an important teaching titled “Jesus Honors Scripture" from Luke 4:16-20. Isn't it amazing we do not just hear a sermon? The Holy Spirit transforms us through His Word. Join me this Sunday, expecting a positive change in you.Pray for our men as they retreat Friday night and Saturday.  Hey everyone,It was so strange not meeting in person last week!   The online service was nice, but not the same. This Sunday, I will be teaching the Making of a Miracle from John 2:1-11.  We will continue our Epiphany journey focusing on Jesus and how His miracle at a wedding speaks to us today.  Aubrey and his team will have Spirit-filled worship music prepared for us.I love serving Jesus with you!      We were made for life together. 242 Groups are an expression of the Christian community that fosters genuine relationships and spiritual formation. 242 Group Connect is an opportunity to learn more about the culture of our 242 Groups and to connect with our 242 Group Leaders. This gathering gives space to explore how to walk alongside others in Christian community at CIL Church. 242 Group Connect will be January 23, after the 10:45 service.  CIL family -This winter weather has caused the new year to stumble at the start. That's ok. I hope these last two days you have been warm and satisfied. May grace be on all of you with little ones who may be stir crazy!The weather prognosis means Sunday morning should be clear for us to have services, so all our plans are moving forward. I will be teaching, and Josh Johnson will be leading us in worship music. We will also install Faith Hannula as our new Children's Pastor. It will be an important Sunday at CIL! I hope to see you at either 9 AM or 10:45 AM.On Sunday night, Aubrey McGowan will be leading us in a Worship Night at 5 PM. While we will not be able to provide childcare, the entire family can join our worship team in prioritizing the presence of God in 2022.As the new year begins, thank you...
